La Herencia® Al Pastor Tacos With Jalapeño Salsa

Traditional Mexican Tacos al Pastor made at home. Tasty and tender Al Pastor tacos with delicious jalapeño salsa. La Herencia® Al Pastor meat is delicious in tacos, burritos, tortas, or for any meal-prep!

Ingredients for the Tacos

  • 1 Package of La Herencia® Al Pastor marinated meat
  • 10 corn or flour tortillas (your favorites)
  • ¾ cup chopped cilantro (about 1/2 a bunch)
  • 1 cup diced white onions (about 1 large onion)
  • 2 chopped limes

Ingredients for the Salsa

  • ½ cup plain greek yogurt
  • ½ cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ½ bunch of cilantro
  • ¾ cups of water
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 3 jalapeño peppers

Instructions for the Tacos

Preheat the pan to medium-high temperature then open La Herencia® Al Pastor meat and chopped it in cubes.

Place the Al Pastor meat on the pan heated to medium-high heat. Let the meat cook until it is no longer raw, about 5 minutes per side.

While your meat is cooking, warm up the tortillas on a hot griddle.

Serve the chopped Al Pastor meat in the tortillas. Top the tacos with some cilantro and onions, pour a tablespoon of the jalapeño salsa. If you like extra flavor add some lime and avocado in your tacos.

Instructions for the Salsa

Mix the yogurt, mayonnaise, garlic, cilantro, water, salt, pepper and the jalapeños. Taste and add more salt and pepper if necessary.
