La Herencia® Chili Lime

Chicken Tinga Tostadas

Ingredients for the tostadas

  • 1 package of La Herencia® Chili Lime Chicken Meat
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 2 minced garlic cloves

  • 1 small onion

  • 1 cup of shredded queso fresco

  • 2 tomatoes chopped

  • 1 small onion

  • ½ cup of chicken stock

  • ½ romaine lettuce chopped

  • ½ can of chipotle peppers

  • ½ radishes

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • ½ red onion (sliced)

  • Tostadas

Instructions for the tostadas

In a medium skillet, add a drizzle of olive oil, tomatoes, onion, garlic cloves, and chipotle peppers. Sauté for 8 minutes on medium heat or until golden brown.

Add chicken stock, and place sauce in a mixer and blend completely.

Place pack of La Herencia® Chili Lime Chicken in warm skillet over medium-high heat and cook completly or until golden brown. Next, shred chicken using two forks. Then, pour sauce in pan and allow sauce to simmer with chicken over low heat.

Serve La Herencia® Chicken Chili Lime Tinga in a tostada, topped with chopped lettuce, red onions, tomato, radish, and queso fresco.
