La Herencia® Arroz con Pollo

Arroz con Pollo ingredients

  • 1 package La Herencia® Pollo Asado

  • Olive oil

  • 2 tomatoes

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon

  • ½ cup white onion (chopped)

  • ¼ cup red bell peppers (chopped)

  • ¼ cup orange bell peppers (chopped)

  • 2 garlic cloves (chopped)

  • 1 cup white rice

  • ½ cup vegetable mix

Instructions for Arroz con pollo

Preheat grill to mediumhigh heat. Cook product for 6 minutes covered, flip, and continue to cook for 5 additional minutes covered or until internal temperature of 165°F is reached on instant read thermometer.

Once chicken is cooked, remove and chop into 2 inch cubes. Next, in a blender add 2 tomatoes, chicken broth, and chicken bouillon, and blend.

In a pan drizzle olive oil, add white onion, red peppers, orange peppers, garlic, and rice. Stir for 2 minutes.

Add chopped La Herencia® Pollo Asado, vegetable mix, and blended mixture. Stir for 3 minutes over medium high heat. Allow rice to cook over medium low heat, and cover for 20 minutes to allow rice to cook.

Once rice is fluffy and cooked, enjoy it on a plate full of arroz con pollo. Garnish with cilantro to preference.
