La Herencia® Pollo Asado Tacos With Lime Creamy Sauce

Tasty and tender Pollo Asado tacos with delicious lime sauce. This recipe can be grilled or cooked in a skillet on the stove-top. La Herencia® Pollo Asado is delicious in tacos, burritos, wraps, or for any meal-prep!

Ingredients for the Tacos

  • 1 Package of La Herencia® Pollo Asado
  • 10 corn or flour tortillas (your favorites)
  • 1 ½ cup shredded cabbage

Ingredients for the Salsa

  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Zest of half a lime
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt

Instructions for the Tacos

You can cook the chicken on an outdoor grill or right in a pan on the stove top

Preheat the pan or grill to medium-high temperature.

While this heats up, mix in a bowl all of the cream ingredients and the lime then set aside.

Place the Pollo Asado on a grill or pan heated to medium-high heat. Let chicken cook until it is no longer pink on the inside, about 6-7 minutes per side.

Transfer chicken to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes. While the chicken is resting, warm up the tortillas on a hot griddle.

Serve the chopped chicken in the tortillas. Top each taco with the cabbage, to finish pour a tablespoon of the lime creamy sauce on top of the taco.

Instructions for the Salsa

Mix in a bowl all of the cream ingredients and the lime then set aside.
