La Herencia® Mango Pico de Gallo Pollo Asado Tacos

Ingredients for Pollo Asado with Corn Tortilla

  • 1 pack of La Herencia ® Pollo Asado

  • Olive oil

  • 1 minced garlic glove

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Corn tortillas

Ingredients for the Mango Pico de Gallo

  • 1 tomato diced

  • 1 seedless jalapeño

  • 2 mangos

  • ½ red onion

  • ¼ cup of fresh cilantro

  • 1 lime

  • Sprinkle salt

  • ½ tps black pepper

Instructions for Mango Pico de Gallo

Dice tomato, and devein jalapeño. After removing veins, dice fresh mango into small cubes, cut red onion, and cilantro. Next, combine ingredients in a bowl and squeeze lime juice.

Instructions for Pollo Asado with Corn Tortillas

Begin by mincing garlic clove. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Add olive oil drizzle, and La Herencia® Pollo Asado, cook product for 6 minutes covered, flip, and continue to cook for 5 additional minutes covered or until internal temperature of 165°F is reached on instant read thermometer.

Remove chicken from heat, place in a cutting board, cut chicken into slices. Insert minced garlic to pan, and continue cooking chicken until no longer pink with onion powder, salt & pepper to taste.

Remove fully cooked chicken from heat and begin assemblance of taco. Begin by warming corn tortilla, add La Herencia® Pollo Asado, and fresh Mango Pico de Gallo.
