La Herencia® Al Pastor Hot dog

Ingredients for Al Pastor Hot dogs

  • 1 package La Herencia® Al Pastor

  • Oil

  • Hot dog buns

  • Mayonaise

  • Pork hot dogs

  • 1 cup mexican style four cheese

  • Mustard(drizzle)

  • Ketchup (drizzle)

Ingredients for toppings

  • 1 orange bell pepper (sliced)

  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced)

  • 1 white onion (sliced)

  • Olive oil (drizzle)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions for Al Pastor Hot dog

Preheat 10” skillet overmedium-high heat. When hot, add 1teaspoon oil and meat. Cook 4 minutes untouched, flip and stir meat, andcook an additional 3 minutes or until internal temperature of 145°F isreached on instant read thermometer. Remove from heat and let rest for 3 minutes.

Along with skillet,maintain medium-high heat. Grill hot dogs untillightly charred for about 5 minutes. Constantly turning hot dogs. Next warmhot dog buns on grill for about 15 seconds on each side.

Begin hot dog assemblance, spread mayonnaise on both side of buns,place pork hot dog on bun, add Mexican cheese, pepper mix, La Herencia® Al Pastor meat, optional mustard, and ketchup.

Instructions for pepper mix

In a skillet add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, add sliced peppersand onion into pan. Stir salt & pepper to taste. Constantly mixvegetables until sauté for about 10 minutes
