La Herencia® Al Pastor Tacos

Ingredients for the tacos

  • 1 pack of La Herencia ® Al Pastor

  • Olive oil

  • ½ cup fresh diced pineapple

  • 5 sliced radish heads

  • ½ red onion coarsely chopped

  • Handful freshly chopped cilantro

  • Corn tortillas

  • Salsa (preference)

  • 4 lime wedges

Instructions for the tacos

Open pack of La Herencia® Al Pastor meat. Next, cut pineapples in small dices.

Wash radish heads, red onion, and cilantro thoroughly. Slice radish heads, chop purple onion, and cilantro.

Preheat skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, add 1 teaspoon oil and meat. Cook 4 minute untouched, flip and stir meat, and cook.

Add chunks of pineapple until caramelized with meat for an additional 3 minutes or until internal temperature of 145°F is reached on instant read thermometer. Remove from heat and let rest for 3 minutes.

Warm tortillas in a pan. Serve meat on warm corn tortilla topped with diced pineapple, purple onion, radish, cilantro, salsa of choice, and a squirt of lime.
