La Herencia® Chimichurri Beef Empanadas

Ingredients for empanadas

  • 1 package of La Herencia® Chimichurri Beef
  • Olive oil

  • 3 garlic cloves diced

  • ½ cup carrots chopped

  • 3 garlic cloves diced

  • 5 tablespoons of chicken stock

  • ½ cup carrots

  • ½ cup green peas

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 1 pack frozen empanada discos doug

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions for empanadas

First prepare the empanada stuffing by cutting all washed ingredients.

Preheat skillet over medium heat with olive oil drizzle. Place package of La Herencia ® Chimichurri meat, allow meat to cook at 145°

Remove Chimuchurri meat an place in a cutting board, a
nd finely chop meat. Return finely cut meat to skillet with a olive oil drizzle over low heat.

In skillet, add tablespoons of chicken stock, carrots, peas, onion, garlic, and sauté.

Add black pepper and salt to taste.

Next, prepare the empanada. Flour a cutting board and preheat oven to 350°

While the oven is heating, place the empanada disco dough in spread of flour and place 2 tablespoons of La Herencia®
Chimichurri beef with vegetable mix in the center of the empanada disco dough.

Wet edge of disco dough with egg wash (water & egg) and fold dough to cover filling forming a semi-circled empanada. Seal edges together, and press edges with fork.

Place on lined baking pan, bake for 10-15 minutes at 350° and Enjoy!
