La Herencia® Chimichurri Burritos

Savory homemade La Herencia® Chimichurri Burritos. Paired with La Herencia® Preference of avocado salsa. This deliciously satisfying recipe will have everyone coming back to the kitchen for more!

INGREDIENTS FOR THE BURRITO

  • 1 Package of La Herencia® Chimichurri marinated meat
  • 2 tortilla wrap or burrito tortillas
  • ½ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup of yellow rice

  • 1 Tomato (coarsely chopped)
  • 15 oz black beans (rinsed)
  • Handful of lettuce (chopped)

Ingredients for the Salsa

  • 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • ¼ cup of cilantro
  • 1 ½ limes
  • Add salt
  • 2 avocados
  • ½ onion (finely chopped)
  • ½ cup of sour cream

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE BURRITO

Preheat the pan to medium heat temperature. Open pack of La Herencia® Chimichurri marinated meat and cut into thin 1 in cubes of meat.

Then add chopped Chimichurri meat into the pan and begin to stir until fully cooked.

As the meat is cooking, warm up soft tortilla and add shredded mozzarella cheese, warm yellow rice, black beans, chopped tomato, and lettuce.

Finally add La Herencia® Chimichurri fully cooked meat to burrito and add salsa.

Instructions for the Salsa

In a blender add avocados and sour cream.

Once fully blended pour avocados and sour cream in a bowl.

Add garlic, cilantro, limes, salt, and onion to the bowl.

Mix all salsa ingredients and adjust consistency to liking by adding more sour cream or avocados.
